A native of the Washington, D.C., area, Margaret Evans is a graduate of Georgetown University. Her numerous poems, fiction and non-fiction short stories and humorous philosophical essays have appeared in literary magazines and journals, including Fullosia Press, Prose Toad, ken*again, Underground Window, Palabras Press, NuPenz, Mannequin Envy, Ascent Aspirations, and A Darker Vision eZine.
Evans is the author of nine mystery/action adventure novels: The Sixth World, Trial in Jade: The Mayan Return, Kingdom Come: The Mayan Answer, Twice Sold Murder, Priced to Kill, Hanging By a Thread, A Dress To Die For, The Lethal Limit, and The Harmony of Revenge, as well as Hostages to Murder, a collection of six mystery novellas, available through Moonlight Mystery Press, and a poetry collection, Christmas Poems for my Grown-up Children.” A non-fiction study of the current cultural climate, Worse Than the Princess and the Pea: Sensitive People in an Insensitive World,” is scheduled to release in 2020.
There has been a wild rumor that a fourth novel in the Maya Earth Trilogy may also be in the works.
